Lauren and Connor’s chic west end wedding at The Engine Works

The Engine Works, Glasgow

“You’re just to good to be true”

Lauren and Connor’s day was chic, stylish and a whole load of good times. They live abroad so this was a chance for them to catch up with UK friends and family, something we love to see! Being there to shoot these moments of reconnection is one of the loveliest things about this job.

We are both huge fans of Mad Men so obviously we loved all the mid-century details picked out by Lauren and Connor. It’s a classic for a reason! They told us they wanted it to feel like stepping back into the 60’s and they definitely nailed that brief.

The Engine Works is hands-down one of our favourite places to shoot, every detail has been thoughtfully designed so overall it looks the business. Having a stylish indoor space for photos is always appreciated by any wedding photographer who works in Glasgow.

They booked our photos + film package because “we loved the style of your videos, how they captured the day without seeming too rehearsed. Same for the photos, we both feel a little camera shy and nervous about all the attention on the day so having some fly on the wall style photography works great for us.” This is music to our ears! (You can read a bit more about the benefits of having us create both the photos and the film here.)

Scroll through all the photos and watch the film, then head down to the end of the post to see all the brilliant suppliers who helped create such an awesome day.
