Louisa & Matt’s forest winter wedding

Louisa & Matt’s winter barn wedding at Comrie Croft was a true celebration of family and friends. This relaxed and loved-up day started with breakfast shared with the couple and their guests, most of whom stayed at the Croft the night before. What a perfect way to begin a wedding - surrounded by all your nearest and dearest.

And that theme continued through the day. Their best pals danced down the aisle ahead of Louisa & Matt, who walked up together (something we LOVE to see.) The ceremony was led by their friend Will (you can see Will & Libby’s colourful Summerhall wedding here). Louisa’s mum and nana provided delicious cakes after an incredible feast of Indian food.

In the run up to the wedding Louisa & Matt told us “we would love to make the most of the beautiful countryside around the venue” so we headed up into the waterfall and forest. It was so quiet and calm there, it felt like we’d stumbled into the most special space to take a 5-minute breather.

After dinner, a sparkler walk and a change of outfits the guests hit the floor for a wild ceilidh. There were limbs flying everywhere and we loved it!
