Glasgow Wedding Venues

Hello!

You might have found this page because you want to get married in Glasgow.

Well, we’ve been lucky enough to shoot in many of the excellent venues the city has to offer.

Here’s is a wee round-up of some of the best.

A couple embracing indoors, with the woman in a white dress and the man in a green jacket and plaid kilt, standing against a brick wall.

This place is so stylish and interesting. There’s a real city aesthetic provided by exposed brick walls, polished concrete floors and gorgeous lighting throughout. And the canal walk along the back is perfect for evening photos.

You’ll see the influence of Charles Rennie Mackintosh all over Glasgow and this venue is one of the best examples of his style. The building is based on his designs with recognisable details inside and out. This space is a popular venue among architects and artists.

A couple sitting on a red-carpeted staircase in an elegant building with high ceilings and large decorative light fixtures.

This grand venue with wow factor is set right at the heart of the Merchant City. As well as weddings it regularly hosts gigs, festivals and shows so you might have had a wild night out here.

We’ve shot a few winter weddings here and its such a great spot for keeping cosy on a cold day. Not to mention all the beer! Its right inside Glasgow Green so you can nip out for photos.

Jump in the car for 2 minutes and you get to the iconic Barras market, somewhere else we love to shoot.

A couple embracing outdoors on a sunny day, the man wearing a formal outfit and the woman in a shimmering dress, surrounded by greenery.

A beautiful old building on the southside with lovely period details, a big ballroom and stage for the band. You’ll find it right next to Maxwell Park, a green space perfect for your photos or a stroll.

Large brick building with classical architecture, featuring ornate decorations and symmetrical windows. A couple stands on the stairs in front, surrounded by manicured hedges and shrubs.

Currently undergoing a major refurb (so check the website before you travel!), this is an iconic Glasgow spot on the southside. Pollok Park is one of the most beautiful green spaces Scotland has to offer and the interiors of the house itself are incredible. Its due to re-open in 2025.

Another classic, Hotel du Vin is a perfect spot if you’re planning a wedding in the West End. The terrace of houses always looks so beautiful and its only a short drive from Glasgow University Chapel. We love the big stained-glass windows and the sweeping staircases!
