Barn Wedding Venues

Hello!

Scotland is one of the most beautiful countries on earth, with rolling hills and wide open spaces galore - in short, if you’re looking for the perfect rural spot for your wedding, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

We’ve put together some of the best we’ve seen across the country to help you narrow it down a bit.

Scroll the photos and see what’s on offer.

We love shooting here, you’ve got gorgeous backdrops, rustic stone walls and fields stretching out to the horizon. Kind of a photographers dream, tbh! We also love the teal velvet drapes in the main barn, it really ties the space together.

Set in acres of private parkland, The Byre feels like a rural retreat but is only an hour from Glasgow or Edinburgh - perfect if you’ve got visitors coming to Scotland. If you recognise the name it could be because Farrow and Ball named a paint colour after it!

We’ve seen Dalduff evolve over the years, each time we go back it seems the owners have added a thoughful new feature to make their venue even better. But it still has the iconic red barn (which we LOVE) and of course, incredible views. You’re right out in the countryside but surrounded by chic details.

Community and the environment are at the heart of Comrie Croft. They support local suppliers and artisans with their beautiful decor. There’s a waterfall, woodland paths and a beautiful loch a short drive away. The best of Scotland in one venue.

The Tin Shed is a bespoke venue offering different spaces for your wedding. There’s the actual Tin Shed, obviously, but also a lovely white-washed bothy and incredible views over the hills. Plus - they make their own ice cream.

The white-washed walls of the barn at Cormiston are so lovely, with space for long tables and a proper knees-up later on. You’re right in the middle of the country here, but not so far from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

This place is just gorgeous. Look at those beams in the roof! And the winding country lanes leading to the village, where ever building was designed by the same architect in the Arts + Crafts style. There’s a lot of history in the area, plus loads of great walks if you like to get out into nature.

Boreland offers an incredible backdrop for your wedding, right on the banks of Loch Tay and lush green hills all around. Quintessentially Scottish, right!? The interiors are lovely too, with plenty of natural light and space.
